Clear meniscus with some orange at the rim, though not as much orange as I would have expected. Nose of dried fruit, reminded me of fruit leather. Lots of dried fruit on the palate, then some ripe fruit and some acidity, but lacks depth. Finish is quite short. Last of 3 bottles, feel like this is on a downward slide.

Such a stunning and unexpectedly good wine. Half-bottle after half-bottle continues to impress, even at this age! Gave 10-15 minutes to open up, then dove in. Prevalent raisin and slightly earthy upfront, giving way to robust (and delicious) blue fruits and blueberry pie. So happy with this wine.
What a pleasant surprise to have so much sweet red fruit left in this wine, with some nice tertiary flavors at the back end to round out the flavor profile.

Needs time to open. Dominant tobacco and raisin notes. Still has some tannins, but overall, very approachable after about an hour being open.

Still has some life left, but running out of time. Raisin and leather dominant the profile.
