Weingut Hirsch Rieslings, 2003-2008; 8/17/2010-8/21/2010 (Vin Vino, Palo Alto and Wallse, New York): Quite light color. Wildly, sickly sweet florality which is more like Gewurztraminer or Gruner than Riesling. Thin feel which becomes richer, underripe pineapple fruit, cyanic finish. This was just like drinking Gewurz. Most disjointed and unpleasant wine in the series. Unlike anything else in the line up.
