  • Meaty, dark fruit on the nose. Fills all corners of the mouth. Strikes me as a very young wine, but one with good potential given it's balance. This bottle was my only one; I'd hold this wine for a few more years if I had any others.

  • Clear, pale garnet core with medium brick red (hints of orange) rim. Medium intense aromas of raspberries intermingled with game. Developing. Medium (+) intense raspberries and game with medium tannins. medium bodied. Medium + acidity, good length finish with flavours of game coming to the fore. Very good, perhaps lacking a little intensity and complexity. Will improve.
