Clear light yellow. SO2 in the front of the nose. Mineral, oyster shell, lemon and apple . More sulfur and oak then I remember in a Moreau Premier cru Chablis. Delicious lemon and oyster shell flavours and a dry finish.
At first there was a bit of oxidization which blew off.

Burgundy 2012 at Flatiron (Flatiron, SF): Pale straw in the glass. On the nose, slight flint (noble reduction). Light body, correct moderate alcohol and high acid, a bit short, classic green apple notes. 8.5
Vinification: 60% in stainless steel vats with temperature-controlled fermentation. 40% in barrels (90% in 1,2 and 3 years old barrels, 10% in new and 1 year old barrels) for a period of 6 months.

Agree with the notes that this wine was more full bodied and "buttery" with the oak very noticeable. Was a little off putting for me which could have been some sulfur as others mentioned. Perhaps this needed more time to mellow but I would not have guessed chablis if asked.

Great texture. On the steely / bracing side. Great wine, great raw materials but not too enjoyable for me, at least right now.
