Ripe black cherries, rich, dense and powerful, with plenty of underlying structure. A bit one dimensional now, but should be really good in five years.

Dark ruby. Nose of fresh cut Bing cherry fruit, soaring violets, damp cellar, lively saline. Layers of exuberant, pure black raspberry and cherry fruit bursting on the tongue cut with bits of iron and molecular earth. Brisk acidity and firm tannin overwhelmed by primary fruit. Long finish of fresh, tart red and black fruit grounded in iron-rich soil. Charged, deep wine packed with energy. Sampled while at Mount Desert Campground.

Agree with others that this has a lot of runway and will get better. A good hour decant required to approach, followed by ripe red and dark berries. Very fruit forward, suggestive more of Oregon than France. Expect it will come into better balance in a few years, but a pleasant drinking wine now.

really nice potential here but still in a very dark and brooding place. was much better the second day. would hold for another 3-5 yeas before opening again.

Pure, quite powerful, still needs some air at this point, but very impressive. Fruit/oak/structure all work together to create a powerful pinot
