Home-drinking. After 2 somewhat perplexing Agrapart 08 (Mineral and Avizoise) this is more conform to my idea of that grower s production. Unmistakably Blanc de Blanc with great purity, zing and drive. The research will go on to establish whether those Agraparts are made to be enjoyed young only or also hold the potential to rival Grandes Maisons elite cuvees after extended cellar aging.

Pale straw gold - rushes out of the bottle with a lot of effervescence, perlage lasts a few minutes. Complex and inviting nose, with pear, lemon and biscuit. Complex palate, broad, rich, with a good acidic backbone. Long finish, with, no pun intended, mineral on the close.

Sushi Dinner at Hatsu (Hatsu): Blind. Bottled May 2014, disgorged Aug 2019, dosage 3g/l. Mineral, green apple, linear acid with persistent finish. Good fruit ripeness on the palate, as it sits in the glass notes of candied apple notes emerged. Lovely bubble

During a BdB Champagne blind tasting dinner. Nose of apple and lemon, fresh palate with some dosage, precise, young. Good, but needs cellar time.
