deep yellow in the baloon with nose of vanilla and almond. Round and elegant, with light citrus notes almost faded away, notes of candies in the background. NIce but with little character, pleasant but not memorable. Will not improve further . in a hot afternoon and evening at Chiavari trying to find the way back to stars

Age has not solved this vintage's flaws, as I found the wine a bit unbalanced (acid over fruit) and lacking in richness compared with prior year models.

Three years after my last Cervaro 2009. Now this Chardonnay appears more mature and complex although its character isn't distinctive. Nice notes of vanilla somehow overwhelm the nature of chardonnay. Honey and caramel make it pleasant. A surprising note of cedar appears sometimes after sipping (also the following day, curiously). Elegant and well executed but still very far away from a Burgungy Chardonnay (too oak and little minerality) and more similar to a Californian chardonnay. Outpriced

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of camphor, melon and mixed yellow fruit. Flavors of yellow pears, lemons and light touches of cantaloupe. Medium acidity, full bodied. Drink now.

a well made medium oaked chardonay, rather full bodied, match well with grilled cod fish, but not much character to be distinctive.
