Starts relatively thin and acidic, but after some aeriation shows as tasty, lighter style bordeaux with some tobacco, hint of earthiness, blackberries and integrated/secondary characteristics. Good acidity made it an excellent paring with fillet. 89-90

This is a surprisingly delightful $20 Bordeaux. To my tastes this is fully mature with lots of dark, earthy cassis, some pipe tobacco notes and some hints of chocolate. Quite nice.
