A: Medium gold N: Medium nose of MEYER LEMON, lime, pineapple, HONEYDEW MELON, bitter almond, wetrock P: Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity and medium (+) finish. a little waxiness here too C: The fruit is ripe but the acidity just about copes with it and so the wine doesn't taste flabby. There are classic aromatic and flavor elements (citrus, melon, almond and wax) in the wine which are indicative of Soave Classico. Good length and intensity but im stopping short of complex. This is a very good quality wine. Gargenega grape clearly winning through here. Not overcropped like most planted in the more fertile regions outside the Classico zone.
Vinification: Age of vines: Vineyards were planted between 1957 and 1987 Altitude, Aspect, & Soil Type: 200M, SE Facing, Volcanic Typical Harvest Time: Sept 15 - Oct 15 Maceration & Fermentation: Controlled low temperature fermentation in stainless steel using indigenous yeasts Aging: Aged in stainless steel for three - six months Finishing: Membrane filtration Production: 280,000 bottles annually

Full bodied and acid still going strong. Banana leaf, Granny Smith apple and lemon. Versatile with food.
