Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium-plus intensity, lemon custard, green apple, saline, brioche, and licorice notes - wow! Palate: Medium-full bodied, creamy mouth-feel, green apple attack, good balance, nice persistence through the mid-palate, smooth edges all around, fruit persists through the back-end where mineral and subtle licorice notes join in and persist through a 45-60 second finish. Wonderfully fresh for a 9 year old Sonoma white wine, loved it, several years left.

Delicious. Still has that wonderfully floral nose. Not sure what the life span is for this wine, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2011 has another 5 years of enjoyment in it.

Love compagni portis with some age on it, and this bottle just emphasized that sentiment. Beautiful aromatics of flowers, spice, and a bit of honey with follows through on the palate along with notes of citrus. Medium plus bodied with plenty of acidity to keep it fresh and light on its feet. Drinking great right now but probably still room for improvement. I haven't been a huge fan of the 2011 Bedrock reds (tough vintage), but this white was fantastic.

Gewurtz, Riesling, Chardonnay, Roter Veltliner--dry farmed This wine baffled me a little bit and I enjoyed it. At first this came off as off-dry to me. Then I poured a glass, got sidetracked and came back to it later and as it warmed up some, it appeared to be more dry and the acidity came out. This wine made me think. Have a bottle of the 2012, curious to see what it is going to be like.

Lovely white field blend with a very expressive nose of flowers & tropical/harvest fruit. Must have some gewurz & viognier in there. The fruity/floral notes on the nose & palate give the impression that it is off-dry, but I think it is actually a dry wine.
