Interesting character. Some grassy flavor, some citrus and something else that I can't identify that gives it more body. Slightly bitter. Went well with my chicken.

Very pale yellow color. Something of a fresh, tart nose—a bit of cut grass, and a hint of melon. Green apple fruit on entry to the palate. This is accentuated by acid tartness towards the back of the tongue and palate. Very refreshing wine. Great for a summer evening on the patio.

Given the high ratings from others, would have thought this bottle was corked -- except it's finished with a Stelvin cap. Even with time in the glass and extensive swirling to release something . . . anything . . . all that could be coaxed out of the bouquet and palate were some pineapple and dusty minerals. Ends a bit sour. This was so restrained and a touch sweet that it was used as cooking wine and replaced with a Sancerre for dinner. Rating withheld; perhaps this was an off bottle, given the 89.3 average CT rating.

Eventually firm, salty, and limey, but it takes a while to get there. Sipping again, yes, this isn't too far off from a margarita.
