Pale yellow hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, apricot, flint, grapefruit, lemon, minerals, pear, straw, and tangerine. Medium-light body; and high acidity. Slightly effervescent on the palate, with a tart, crisp, and refreshing finish (about medium length).

Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whts, & 8 Reds] from 1/11/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 100% S.B. from the McGinley, Grassini, Star Lane, & Happy Canyon Vyds. "The component wines are racked one time after fermentation is complete and stored in stainless steel tanks (85%) and neutral French oak barrels and pipes (15%) for 9 months, during which the fine lees are stirred." 12.4% ABV, 7.0 g/L T.A., & 3.21 pH; 3,359 cases
N: grass atop mierals, poss with undertones of toast?
P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt counterbalanced by an acidity which makes itself felt into the LONG, balanced, tangy/swt finish. VERY nicely done as a crisp food wine! For now & through 20, poss more? My EXC-, & I'd entertain an argument for more based upon this vendor's $15.95, which is now $2 < wine-searcher's next lowest. 89 pts ea WS & WE @ $21.

N: Grn olives with mineral undertones, poss SOME cat pee?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt nicely off-set by an acidity which transitions into a LONG, balanced, tangy/swt finish with a lip-smacking character & HINTS of a very, VERY slight bitterness. My VG+/EXC-. For now & through '20, + MIGHT even improve through the rest of '18. 89 pts ea WS & WE @ $21. [This vendor's $17.95 is as good as any of wine-searcher's limited listings.]

Pale light straw in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of grapefruit, lemons/limes & apples with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, wet stones & lemongrass. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of lemons & limes, white grapefruit & tart green apples, with lemongrass, stony & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present but will benefit from an additional year or two of further aging. Crafted from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the rolling hills of the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA at McGinley Vineyard, Grassini Vineyard, Star Lane Vineyard & Happy Canyon Vineyard.
