  Rare find this is!! Great 20+ year old sagrantino di Montefalco from top Umbria house Arnaldo Caprai. Dark fruit, some tobacco in the nose. Much depth and complexity in the palate. After twenty years the tannins have integrated.

  Beauty! Time has tamed this one to a very opaque, smooth, complex black cherry and plum with nice complexity and finish. Didn’t decant and the initial cedar notes blew off over the course of an hour.

  On the nose: Dark berries, violet, cedar, forest floor, soil, leather
  On the palate: Very smooth with a taste of cherry, wood, blueberry and some leather and tobacco
  Medium + finish
