Still very youthful pale yellow. Nose is fresh, somewhat ripe and young with citrus, toasted nuts, ginger and crushed white pepper. Palate is ripe , toasty and spicy, I first thought this has for sure seen oak but apparently not. It has notes of seashells, roasted peanuts and lemon zest. Finishes medium length and somewhat smoky and toasty. I like a bit more freshness in my Chablis but nice wine nonetheless.

First thing to acknowledge: this wine needs more time. Pale gold color. Flinty, lemony nose. Rich and yet austere at the same time on the palate. I know, that makes no sense, but there you have it. Lemons, melons, minerals, an attractive flinty quality. Becomes lusher on the mid-palate. With a bit of air, it is awash in minerals. Yellow melons become more pronounced. Beautiful balance, nuanced acidity. Finishes long and crisp. Lovely right now, but still needs 4 to 5 years to develop and will drink well for another 10 years beyond that. 94 points with an upside.

Excellent white peach and light citrus fruit along with lovely texture. Drank chilled and allowed to warm up over dinner. There was a surprising lack of acidity and liveliness for as young as it is. Not sure if this was a slightly off bottle or maybe just a result of vintage? Fun to drink nonetheless.

Really nice Chablis and drinking well. Sugars and acids very nicely balanced with a roundness in mouth. Citrus nose and palate with clean finish.

lactic and precise fruit without any overripe aromatics, though the acidity is a tad lower, still an excellent effort for a tough vintage.
