This bottle was very strange. Concentrated with alcoholic heat like a CdP / Cote du Rhone Village. Did not improve in the decanter. Everybody at the table was shaking their head. As this bottle was very off character from the normal, elegant house style, I refrain from a rating. NR

Still young, tight and needs time to open. Oak, red sweet raspberry, stone minerality, tannin still prominent, medium high acidity, finishes sweet. Hold.

Very good but too young. Definitely deeper and more substantial than the village, more powerful, but not necessarily better right now. Hints of new oak and alcohol on the finish, powerful minerality which is almost somewhat metallic, combination of high-toned raspberry-ish red fruit and a deeper dark fruit, hints almost of prune. I think as this integrates over the next 5-10 years it will improve significantly and probably add 2-3 points to my current score, which is based on current drinking pleasure.

Another French Night at Hamburg (Nobbi Müller Burgunder& Süßweine, Hamburg): As the "normal" premier Cru from Bertheau was that convincing we all like to know what the "Les Charmes" would tell us, in one phrase: singing a perfect ARIA! No doubt, not only one step up the ladder, for me two(+) steps up, the black fruit that rich and delicious, the pure finesse, dense AND gentle flow, to chew on, great showing tonight, very long finish, think this bottling will improve during the next decade(+), but this specific bottle was in a great place right now! **(**+ -?), 93, 94(+) potential

Crunchy red fruit on the nose. Nice spice notes on the palate - this is young but pretty enjoyable even at this time.
