  Sadly this wine was great when young bought 6 bottles on arrival, fantastic 3 bottles, after the age og 6-7 years in severe decline, last night after 60 min. decant, nose was nice but taste was thin and boring, aftertaste gone, what happened

  Small dinner to try out a new restaurant (Mihan): Part of the idea behind the dinner was to give Nebbiolo another chance. This seemed like a great option to go with. A really joyous character of stewed strawberries - some discussion as to whether "jammy" could be used to describe a wine that you like - the view of the synod was that "compote" could be used in these circumstances. Quite a bit of compote going on - also a lovely fine texture. Pleased and grateful to have had the opportunity to taste this.
