I want to share my experience here primarily to help others avoid my initial one, to not dismiss it after the first many hours.
PoP and I can only say we were incredibly disappointed. There seemed to be no there there, except for the reputation larger than Napoleon. Even hours later, there was no change. So we left the wine alone, frankly not intending to try it again.
However, the next day, not even yet in the morning but only later in the afternoon (!), something magical had happened. A truly sensual wine emerged with beautiful tones of warm fruit, deeply integrated dark wood, and remarkably well-balanced flavors. The signature of the winemaker clearly written all over it and yes it turned out to be an unique wine worth its maker’s reputation.
No Doubt this will improve over time and needs several more years in bottle.

Still a bit on the young side, but this is a really excellent bottle of pinot noir. Has a rare intensity of fruit. Give it a few hours of air if opening now.

Pronounced nose of red fruits, finesse on nose, red cherry. Medium acidity and medium tannin. Medium+ finish. Really not too bad for a village but looking at the price to quality point now, maybe theres better alternative?

An incredibly aromatic nose with a red core of fruit. Fabulous complexity on the nose. Pure. The palate is not quite at the level of the nose. It is driven by medium concentrated red fruit with some notes that remind me of stems. It finishes refreshing. An absolutely stunning village wine.

Wonderfully aromatic. Quite driven by stem notes. Like young Dujac when Jacques Seyesses made the wines. The palate shows a little green note. It seems to dissipate as the wine gains weight. A super nice wine but needs time. Great villages.
