  • A great Vosne nose comes through with 30 minutes of air--tight at first. Dark fruit with Vosne spice, nice texture, not tannic. Surpasses its villages level. Drink now.

  • Bottle was stored in perfect conditions. Definite orange bricking color. First taste was not very pleasant, took about two hours to really open up and kept improving. This was the oldest Burgundy I've ever had and the best Burgundy I've ever had. Beautiful burgundy nose. It's medium bodied yet powerful with pure concentrated fruit, earthiness, and gripping tannins that create a lingering long finish. If stored properly this vibrant Burg still has plenty of life left. With the experience of this bottle, I'm starting to understand the Burg fanatics.
