Developed over two hours. A bit reticent/austere out of the bottle. Agree with others that this needs some more time in the bottle, or a lot of air before drinking. But there is good stuff in there... Even today, a good food wine.

tasty, but fairly plain and hugely overpriced at over $100. i.e. if it were $40-$50 it would be fine, but I will certainly not buy more. a more modest offering, maybe cumberland reserve, from the same winery at a lower price was fine, about the same taste or better, at less than half the price, so I thought I would try the more prized vineyard, unfortunately for my gullibility.

Drunk off the wine list at Eddie Merlot’s in Boston. I think BH’s review is pretty accurate. This was very shy, not only on the nose but also on the palate. Silky and medium bodied, this begged for airtime or age, as the usual pinot flavors were toned down. Still, I enjoyed it a lot and would love to have it in a few years.

Beautiful wine. Opened but not decanted about 60 minutes prior to consumption . Cherry, Asian spice nd earth on the nose. Paired with grilled salmon with a spicy rub, rice and mixed salad . Well-balanced on the palate with good acidity to pair with food . Finish is long.

Beautiful Pinot. Pretty soft and silky, fantastic elegant nose of shy berries and some nail polish. Maybe a little to shy for my taste. But very nice.
