PnP at home. This was an eye popping wine of the evening. Took about 10mins for the initial funk to blow off but after that, this was singing. Insanely fresh fruit with hints of licorish and butter. Very light weight which was surprising with a touch of tiredness. This is at its peak and I don't think it will get any better. Drink up!!

Started off a little hot because the wine was a little cold. When it warmed up it revealed a very nice and balanced Chardonnay. Oak was present but not overpowering. The wine had a little bit lighter body than the Dumol I had the previous night. The Hawk Hill bottling is my favorite of their Chards but the Dumol was clearly the better wine of the two this weekend.

Well balanced, with fruit, acidity and oak in good proportions. A spicy note adds interest.
