This so nicely captures the ripeness of the vintage in a restrained and elegant frame. Crushed cherry, floral and musky spice aromas. Mid-weight and plush fruit is bright with buoyant acidity. Should hold for 5-10 years no problem. The bottle disappeared quickly.

Mature red cherry with spice and floral notes and some background earth. Good weight and length, and slightly better balance. This opened up nicely after 15-20 minutes, then started losing brightness at the 2-hour mark. Certainly better & fresher than my last bottle from a year+ ago.

Toned red fruit, beetroot, crushed leaves, a touch of coriander, very secondary and hinting towards tertiary. Round and not rough, tannin is folded in nicely but not the facileness from top Volnay. A mineral finish. It's light on its feet with still having a solid degree of concentration.
It is truly a balance between Pommmard and Volnay. Perhaps that drops the ceiling but this is a solid performer.
This bottle seemed fresh and spot-on, but I would drink now and over the next few.

Fully mature red cherry with cooked spice and hints of former floral charm. Seemed slightly older than 2006, but good weight and length, so certainly holding in there.

Medium red color. Splash decanted and drank a glass over an hour. Tart cherry, a little angular, firm tannins, foursquare.
