Dark, inky-red color. Medium body. Deep, rich, potent, masculine, powerful. Dark fruits, as well as some spiciness, earth, and chocolate. Grippy tannins, bracing acidity, well-balanced, well-made, very age-worthy wine. A true treasure, but too young now.

Pretty, light, soft with bright cherry, tacky fine tannins, and high toned acidity. Long finish with a dark streak. Pretty but not lush, will reward cellaring. B/B-
