Rich and complex with notes of honey, mandarins and apricots. Stony fruits abound in the mouth and there’s a real honeyed sweetness. Bracing acidity keeps all flavours tucked in and well behaved.

Half bottles for Thai food offline (King's Heath, Birmingham): From a half bottle. This is much lighter and fresher than the much younger Breuer, though the nose is rather indeterminate. There's massive acidity - much more prominent than in the Breuer.
