This wine opened with a sweet cream, quite buttery in fact. As it relaxed, a subsurface energetic acidity buttressed the pastry cream, vanilla bean, and lemon curd. It was very sound, not quite to the point of nutty notes. Slivered almond it anything. Anyway that was darn fine juice, and I’ll seek out more 1eres from this producer with age based on this experience.

Good minerality with a touch of toasted oak/butteriness, but it's tart and a bit uninteresting at this point- very tight and not sure if the fruit is deep enough to last to make this great.

tasting about Chassagne/ Puligny area
Caramel, and brown
Loads od old butter, forrest floor, salt caramel and nutty... on the oxydation side
Although it has a great presence in palate, it lacks the acidity of the Ramonet to balance a little better the oxydation of age
Too Late

Athenaeum fine wine dinner. Pale gold. Much fruit on nose. Hint of greengage. Excellent mouthful with superb finish.
