Bold Syrah with a lot of grip. Good acidity, lot of melting, dark red fruit, mocha, dark chocolate. Long finish with prominent but nicely integrated tannins. Very harmonious overall, but still very young - but already great stuff.

Similar to previous notes. I tend to love Italian Syrah and this is a great example. Flashy and flamboyant with beautiful fruit, vibrant with some acidity and a beam of white pepper that is welcome and doesn't overwhelm. Medium to full-bodied. Somehow the price dropped at Costco from $50 to about $44 too. I'll likely need to buy a few more. This is already showing well enough despite its youth but will surely improve even more. Great quality/price ratio really.

This was quite excellent and worth the price of admission at $50 plus tax from Costco. This was quite concentrated, with a profile that almost reminded me of an Amarone, but there was a beautiful acidity too, bringing freshness. Always a delight to drink something powerful that has a 'lift' of freshness too - uncanny. This is clearly quite young, so will only improve, but still approachable already. The syrah character really shows too. Worth seeking out and leaving for a few years.

A big and bold syrah, but very polished and poised with dark black and blue fruits, rich mocha, scortched earth, minerals and spices. Sexy texture as well. Tremendous. While powerful, there is a lot of substance here and its refined as well. While one can drink this with some serious decanting, this rare syrah will be even better in about 3-5+ years. Based on experiences with previous vintages, usually has a nice pime spot at 5-7 years. As expected, a very nice release from the great house of Fontodi. Find it, buy it. Like ! 95+

Not as solid as the previous two bottles I had. This felt a bit thin and lacking depth.
