Yatir, Forest, 2014: Deep, inky purple in color, with on the nose blackberry jam, black currants, leather, tar, roasted herbs and oriental spices. Full-bodied, extracted with layers of jammy black fruit, prune, roasted meat and Mediterranean herbs, sweet black licorice, with notes of rich tobacco, spicy oak and dark chocolate, medium acidity and chewy sweet tannins on a long, spicy and jammy finish. I think this is the ripest, stuffy Forest I have ever tasted. A pass for me this vintage. 15% Abv. Drink 2020-2025. 89

Fully mature. Might be bottle variation, but a drop disappointing

Features an earthy core over its mixed red and black berry flavours. Shows good length and overall balance.
