Bottle was not corked, but this wine tasted like pure paper with no substance at all. Immediately was used as cooking wine.
Spring Bacchanal with Winemaker Ken Wright (Roti Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan): Flabby peach, butter, spice - almost ginger. On the palate there are flavours of peach and butter that drop off quickly. Meh.
smooth, low oak, balanced, quiet nice drinking table wine. not complex but good value at $12. WS rates the 2012 at 90--need to try that.
nose: fragrant pear, spice, green applepalate: oak, butter and spice. lemon. thick and rather dull. couda used more acidity. spicy medium finish.by the book
