Monthly Tuesday group #005: Barolo at least 5 years old (By JdB): The bouquet is still a bit locked, but shows some red fruits, flowers and autumn impressions. On the palate a mouth filling wine with red berries, chocolate, sweet spices, roses, mint and sweet licorice. Good acidity and round, fairly soft tannin with still a good bite. In fact the wine is still a bit too young. Wait until 2017/18.

Agree with Zweeder's note. This is still rather tight and locked up and not a particularly enjoyable even with food. Needs time.
