Brief note written from memory. Outperforming its place in the heirarchy. Forest floor, dried herbs, wet soil, red cherries, both fresh and preserved. A bit of barnyardy funk. The bright acidity common in the vintage. Below mid weight, a little angular and rustic. Age-appropriate mushroomy evolution. Best before say 2029.

My experience was exactly the same as big juicy red below. Higher acidity, rather angular, the wine was very tight. Not soft, but very precise. Had with steak, I think it would be better with a cheesier, creamier meal. Oh well.

Medium ruby. It was very tight at first. Most noticeable aroma was a pronounced vanilla, probably from oak, followed by strawberry, black cherry, and other red fruits. Dry, high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, light body and light flavor intensity. I wasn't sure what to expect from this wine, having purchased it as a curiosity (I believe it's one of, if not the, only pinot fin in Burgundy). It was much lighter, tighter, and less complex than I was expecting. Not terribly interesting -- I wouldn't buy it again.

Medium ruby with a maturing nose of red cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, charred wood, smoke, coconut shell, cedar and an earthy, mushroom aroma too. The palate has all those red fruits on the nose but there's also dried herb and green pepper too.

Dark ruby with red cherry and eucalyptus smells, the palate is still fresh and primary with principally black cherry flavours and a sappy, stalky finish which I like.
