A private dinner (Caffè Toscanini, Amsterdam, NL): Marvellous fruit and energy, autumnal complexity, floral and structured, fresh and firm, grippy tannins, bright and long finish. As classical as it gets. Very different from Monvigliero for obvious reasons, but similar in quality.

Couleur sombre, nez floral, roses, agrumes, fraise, herbe humide, nez plus délicat que puissant, bouche plus épicée, poivrée, encore très fermée, tannique, alcool aujourd'hui légèrement dominant, une bouteille avec un beau potentiel qu’il faut absolument oublier à la cave...

This really suffered next to the 2016 Burlotto Monvigliero. The Cannubi was much darker, had a lot more extraction and was a bit more Foursquare
