Very dark, jammy, concentrate blackberry flavours. Heavy body, black pepper, salty, slightly bitter finish. Good party wine, but you'll get everybody drunk.

Sound juice here, lovers of the aussie-style will rate it higher, though it is somewhat restrained compared to the Glaetzer of old. Straight forward, juicy, emphasis on the black berries, easy drinking and well balanced. Bring me a charr grilled steak, please

Not your typical, bold Barossa red. Old World rather than New World, restrained and not sweet for what it is. Less minty, too, and there is a bit of a herby edge to it, suggesting whole bunches (or stems). Not heavy at all, though just a bit hot on the finish. It seems like trying to avoid being overdone in any way, which is a good thing, but it’s a bit unimpressive as a result. It could be more charming a year or two ago, while having primary fruits, but now it’s just a good wine which lacks some character.
