Drinking very well. Layers of spice with red raspberry liquorice. A long finish with some tannic grip right at the end. Should continue to improve, no rush to drink these up. Sadly my last bottle.

Medium intensity ruby, bright. Nose: very perfumed, red cherries, raspberries, roses, spice and some oak in the background. Light to medium bodied. I find the acidity much more prominent as a result. Very different to any GSM I've had but still a nice wine. I agree with Halliday's notes - reminds me of a bright pinot noir.

Game of Rhones (Carriageworks, Redfern): perfumed pepper over red berry fruit (strawberries predominantly) and a saline/briny note. Broad and fleshy, fruit is lost beneath tannins. Hmm.

Vinolok closure
Not traditional Barossa style.
Smooth bright acidity up front over dark cherries and strawberry.
A very long term prospect - not for immediate drinking
