Brilliantly golden. Brightly deep orchard fruit with excellent acid backbone, providing fabulous tension. Excellent on Christmas day, and then continuing as the rest was meted out in small apéritif pours spread over the next eight nights. Thanks for this, Claude.

This was sailing, nice crisp vibrant acidity still with zingy but slightly mellowed fruit, lots of mineral going on, quite long. WOTN for me. EWG at Kapoor's Akbar

Barbecue & ripe Riesling (@Weindorf, Kirchheim): Glass: Gabriel Standard Popped and poured. Clear, medium intense and balanced nose. Off-dry, lacks a bit of excitement from acidity. Totally relaxed and balanced wine without any rough edges, but also without excitement. Joyful and easy to drink though. Drink now, no further potential. 89-90

Delicious..! delicate, mineral driven nose. Perfectly balanced and graceful on the palate. Classic Mosel, classic Haag. Early phase of its drinking plateau, which will easily last another 10 or 15 years. APnr. 7-05

Drinking quite well at the moment. A touch of spritz on the mouth and sufficient acidity on the finish. Still tasting fresh and lively, perhaps a touch short on the finish, but a great aperitif.
