Consistent with my previous notes from May. Black fruit, fine but present tannins, and just a bit of acidity in a medium body. A very satisfying wine any night of the week and just the right match for tonight's meatloaf and roasted potatoes.

Moderate oak and dark fruit, powerful tannin but still approachable. Picked very ripe with a large water addition in the fermenter to bring sugars down to a fermentable level. Typical for an American cabernet but when the producer goes overboard it leads to a hollow feeling mid palate. That is happening here. This is decent, but a bit too formulaic. Let's not talk about QPR

Very well balanced acid fruit and tannin. Easy drinker, not super complex, but enjoyable.
