  • A: pale lemon
N: medium (+) intensity, brioche, lemon, lime, green apple, white blossom, orange blosson
P: dry (brut - maybe 12 g/L RS to balance the acidity), high acidity, medium body, medium ABV, medium intensity flavors, medium finish.
C: Very good wine, balance of acidity and lees treatment is just fantastic, decent complexity and intensity, not a long finish.

  • Tasted blind. This has a honeyed quality with lime and tangerine. The dosage here is elevated for me, as it gives my palate the 7-Up soda impression which I don't care for. I like this for the more generous style and it will do best for those who are into the Nature/EB style as I am. Has a little of the Vilmart-esque quality too it.

  • Pick this up in Budapest at a wine bar, didn't have great expectations when I purchased a glass. Wrong, great stuff so I bought a bottle home in the suitcase. Green apple on the attack with lime on the finish. Nice ending, excellent. Wonder if they make something with a lower dosage? That's be the bomb.

  • Tasted by the glass at the Budapest Wine Festival, so the tasting note is somewhat short:
Golden yellow colour, fine mousseux, smells of spices and lovage, fresh acidity in the mouth plus lovage and apricot, dry, but not in a tart way, in the aftertaste lovage, apricot and acidity, good length, a really good sparkling wine
