Disgorged Jan 2017. Mid-gold with flecks of garnet. Strawberry, lemon, apple, chalk. Harmonious and intense, with a delicious freshness and mouthwatering finish.

not blind side by side with Vilmart's Coeur de Cuvee 2007. Style wise more oxidative but it feels heavier and less fresh. I'm a big fan of EGly's BdN GC but his Millesimes were never my favourite wine. CdC is much fresher, more precise and elegant independent from the oxidative style. It is not over the peak but I would wait not too long. 92

Yeasty nose, complex fruit aromas. Discrete oxidative notes crept in as the night wore on. More pronounced red fruit on the palate as wine aired, raspberry. Superb package. The nose is very complete.

Golden, in color. Scattered fine bubble stream. Lime, tangerine, pear, apricot, lemon tart, honey, spice, nutty, chalk. Citrus driven, on a lasting finish.
