  The first bottle unfortunately had a cork taint, but a back-up bottle was wonderful: smoky, spicy, notes of petrol, herbs, crushed stone. On the palate intense, still fresh and lively, lots of minerality. Saline, delicate with wonderful length. Superb. 93-95

  A very polished wine. Had a very distinct riesling character, and almost reminded me of an older Spatlese or Auslese from a top producer. A very good wine, drinking very well right now, likely will age further but not sure if it will get any better than where it is right now. Very nice, old ZH wine.

  Zachy's Wine Auction - Winter 2014 (Smith & Wollensky (48th & 3rd Ave)): This starts off as pure petrol. Very crisp and clean and refreshing even. There's some sweetness on the backend a nice acidity. Very nice easy drinking wine.
