  • Nose of hydrocarbons, tangerine and orange peel.

Rich on the palate but with superb acidity which leans towards flavors of slightly candied apricot, mandarin and peach. It is very distinguished and the wine tastes very dry despite the presence of some residual sugars at the bottom of the bottle. The balance is impressive given the richness of the wine which is catapulted by the acidity. Great finish with beautiful bitter orange peel notes and a honeyed finish that lingers for a long time.

    Great mature Riesling.

  • 2/2, good cork. Wax capsule.
Medium/deep straw, touch of gold. Nose shows ripe peach, lychee, cream. Medium/full, unctuous, peach, ripe apple, cream, moderate acidity, touch of orange and spice on the good length finish. Enjoyable.

  • From a bottle opened last night - dark gold/bronze in the glass, with an oxidative note on the nose.

Dry on the palate, richly flavored - this is a full-bodied white with a lengthy finish. Excellent tonight.

  • A big wine. Obviously made from very ripe grapes, with 14,2% alcohol. Rounded smell of petrol, yellow fruit and volcanic stones. Full bodied riesling, with an integrated acidity. A serious wine, but leaves me perhaps with more awe than pure pleasure. Difficult to say if the acidity will be more outspoken with more time. I think maybe its time to try if you have a few.
