Very Gevrey on the nose; iron notes with darker fruits and a bits of rusticity. Quite approachable on the palate with fine tannins. Seems more evolved/mature than the Clos des Lambrays served beside it. Drinking well now but this should continue to develop positively for at least 5-7 years. Excellent. 90+

Raspberry, strawberry, gamey on the nose. Beautiful wine, lovely body. Drinking well right now.

Domaine Perrot-Minot Tasting/Dinner with Some Other Great Burgundy from DNS (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Open 3 hours before serving alongside its 2005 counterpart. Ripe black fruit with moderate spice. Very tasty, very nicely balanced. I prefer this over the 2005 for now as well as for the cellar.

In 06 Christophe still made quite oaky wines. Otherwise it's ok. But low QPR here. 88-90p
