2023 New Year's Day Blind Tasting (Marietta, GA): Deeper cloudier core; some VA, sweeter nose, exotic, 5 spice, prune, sandalwood, saddle leather, exotic, rich, savory, kind of a polarizing wine, aged, powerful and mouthfilling, a touch medicinal, why is it so dark; Mourvedre based CdP?- wow was not expecting that.

2023 New Year's Day Double Blind Tasting: Served double blind. Black cherry, incredibly smooth & supple finish with a semi-sweet liqueur like finish. Definitely old world and Burgundian on the attack, however, the finish threw me off so I called it CDP.

Super Bowl 2022 (Alpharetta, GA): See through ruby maroon, looks young; some reduction, plum, dark cherry, Gevrey, vanilla, big, Grand Cru, textured, a big boy- Beze or Chambertin, powerful, long, serious, gravitas, lower acids, layered, waves of flavor on the finish, floral and fruit, grip; young but enjoyable; 94+; '09 Beze?

Super Bowl 2022 (Alpharetta, GA): Tasted double blind. Beautiful wine, copious amount of bing cherry and strawberry fruit with layers of complexity. However, the fruit concentration masks the full potential of this wine. I called it 2009 Gevrey because of the depth of fruit concentration.
