  Second time of tasting, this delivered again, and is a great value Burgundy if you can find it in a ridiculously overpriced marketplace. I despair with the recent hikes in white Burgundy, with some tripling in as many months. Bring on the new world Chardonnays!

  This is an incredibly intense wine, as noted by Burghound. Still good value, it ticks all the boxes, but in many ways is untypical with a big fruit driven palate and finish, with mango, grapefruit, and pineapple prominent.

  St Hugh's lunch (The Principal): expressive aromas of stones and herbs. not particularly refined or elegant but I quite enjoy the directness of it.
