Love Grand Dames with age. Butterscotch, toffee, honeyed yellow fruit, and bruised apple. Hedonistic while retaining good balance. Delicious!

Deep, honeyed gold; brioche, hazelnut, caramel, whipped butter; broad and weighty but incredibly focussed, precise, concentrated; ripe, almost tropical, ginger, orange peel, apricot; extraordinary length; dry, refreshing finish, grippy but not astringent. Absolutely exceptional and surely at its peak.
