Apricot, orange marmalade, caramel, burnt sugar, honey, and candied ginger. Very balanced with a lovely (slight) bitter finish. Delicious!

Holy shit that was amazing. And still young, of course. Beautiful dance of caramelized peaches with an amazing finish. I need MORE of this one to hold on til my knees are creaking.

From a half. Very fresh, sweet but not cloying, pineapple, tangerine, marmalade, and a hint of butterscotch. This bottle was in the shape to go five or more years from here.

Climens is always a lovely drink but this one didn't convince me as much as I had hoped. Personally I get worried by a darker hue and like other Sauternes/Barsacs with a light tea colour, this had too much caramel for my taste. That said, the honey and butterscotch flavours were elegantly done so it was still very enjoyable - just not the sublime experience I had hoped for.

Has more than just cloying sweetness but '04 was not complex vintage. Think it will certainly continue to evolve.
