  Turley zinfandels age beautifully. Apples, dates, figs, blueberries, pepper, licorice, and dark chocolate. Big and bold. Surprisingly big tannins. (Lots of sediment.) Flows smoothly. Ridiculously good value. I don’t know why Robert Parker wasn’t keen on this wine in his 2005 review, because it is the kind of wine I could see him scoring 95-100.

  Thank god I have more, this wine is young and fresh and alive. This wine was open for more tan 2.5 hours and still going strong.
