Second bottle: first one had distinct evolution. deep yellow/gold and better colour than initial bottle. It is still showing evolution but fresher than the previous bottle. Notes of oak spices, pear and mineral with honey (almost honeysuckle); Palate has dried spice, honey and dried pear on a wet stone, a resin character, better livelier acidity that bottle 1, some phenolics on the finish. arguably seen better days but not terrible. Truly outstanding. We had it with seared scallops and lemon risotto.m and I could not have picked a better wine. Very expressive nose with white flower and pear over a foundation of sea breeze. The pallets was full yet nimble with the weight of stone fruit, candied orange, and glycerin lifted by a string undercurrent of mineralogy and acidity. Quite a long finish.

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of camphor, Paraffin, lychee and yellow pear. Flavors of candied pears, apricots, lemon zest and minerals. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Previous notes capture flavors/aromas well. Mature on nose and palate but still very much in balance. After 1 hour breathing some nice roasted nuttiness comes through.

Sadly bottle was brown and showing distinct oxidation. probably should have drunk it earlier but found 2 bottles down the side of the rack!
