Face au Condrieu de Gangloff, le Saint-Cosme semblait plus mou, moins de rondeur et de matière, le coté florale était moins présent. Encore une fois pas mon style de vin blanc car ca manque d'acidité.

At or perhaps over the peak, yet a surpreme experience, within the area of viognier. Going together with Cervice of cod with Tigersmil, spots of sweet potatocreme and crystal cabbage. Color: dark golden, but not quite amber Nose: Ripe yellow fruits, abricot, quince, very ripe pineapple and sweet flowers. Palate: Ripe Yellow fruits as abricot, ripe peach and a weak sweet hazelnut or vanilla

Beautiful golden appearance. The vividness was a sign of good things to come.
Pronounced and evolving nose of candied citrus peel (orange) , honey , stone fruits (mango/peach) and some floral elements (violet?).
Full bodied and lush on the palate with a beautiful mouth feel. Plenty of acidity to keep things fresh and a medium plus to long finish.
Overall excellent bottle that matched up well with a variety of French soft cheeses served at the end of the meal. I don't really have a lot of experience with aging viognier but my guess is to drink up.

Excellent expression of honeysuckle, flowers, salt and minerality, with excellent acidity present to keep it far removed from flabby. No reason to cellar it any longer at this point, drink up.

I really like mature condrieu and this is a really good example. Perhaps now just past its base. Begin to drink up.
