  • Nose: bread, brioche, sweet potato, white flowers
Notes: tasted vertical 07-09. I must say that the 2009 is probably the most ready out of the three vintages. It is medium to full bodied with a smooth palate. Beautiful nose of brioche and white flowers with hints of baked sweet potato. Although the wine is drinking well now I am still unable to find much layers and complexity in the wine. Overall I can't say I was too impressed. I think I liked the 05 and 06 I had quite a few years ago.

  • good start and balanced CC - ripe tones, but sweet spot - buttery rich, but not blousy or too fat - very good now - don´t think will improve too much but will keep for some more years

  • Popped and poured. Nice nose of apply and white flowers. The palate is rich and fleshy and the wine is well balanced. Lemon rind, pear, tropical fruits, minerals and toast on the palate. There is a touch more oak here than I would prefer but overall it’s reasonably well integrated.

  • Another good bottle of this. This is a very solid CC delivering all the basic goods you would expect in a slightly oaky but still enjoyable style. The nose is fresh lemon rinds, flowers and herbs. The palate is fleshy but balanced with hints of lemon, pomelo, minerals and toast. Finishes nicely if rather simply.

  • First taste of this was so so with too much oak inflected scents. After 30 minutes the wine comes together much better. Nice nose of white flowers and minerals. The palate is gentle and fleshy but is well balanced with flavors of apple, guava, and vanilla and additional nuance on the finish. Overall a very solid interpretation of CC drinking close to full maturity
