Six years ago I opened one. Today at least as beautiful: completely balanced with still good acidity, stands straight! Smooth, fruits and nuts, length. A real top wine.

At Loek Habbema's birthday party, January 5th 2014. Although most of the tasters prefer the 2002 Leflaive's Les Pucelles, my friend Harry agreed with me. this is an impeccable wine with a delicate perfume, subtle wood/vanilla and exceptional acidiy (2003!). The wine ended with a very good balance.

Wine Club (Bowling Green, OH): Solid wine, if a bit past its peak. There's a bit of oxidation going on. But there's also balanced oak, a nutty and creamy mouthfeel, and enough acidity to keep it honest.

Started off quiet and tart..so I dropped it into a decanter for an hour. Nose opened up to show some white tree fruits. But there is a distracting tart, almost artificial acidity that immediately overwhelms the fruit. Too bad, the nose and the texture had promise.
