  • This is my second bottle - both with similar findings. Wine threw a sediment in the bottle and was hazy pale gold in the glass. Aromas of butterscotch showing the wine's age. Creamy in the mouth with nice balance. Still showing some tropical fruit after time to open. If you have any left I would recommend drinking ASAP. Wine did not age well. Possibly flawed.

  • My last bottle of this vintage. Still very infused with oak. Served with a garlic teriyaki red snapper which had been stuffed with scallion and ginger. It was a good match.

  • Age has toned it down, no longer the oak bomb of its youth, while there is still oak it is now integrated with peaches and melon. Served with our first course of seared tuna it was a perfect match.

  • first night up north I uncorked this one and it was very good. Peach and other citrus. Age had calmed it down and it was balanced. Went well with fish. Quit was not as predominant as previous tasting a few years ago but age integrated fruit and it turned out very smooth. Nice.

  • Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, lemon zest, almonds, pear, and green apple. Palate: Medium bodied, green apple and lemon custard attack, creamy mouth-feel, plenty of acidic backbone to balance out the sweet up-front fruit, nice mid-palate lift drives a lengthy finish dominated by apple pie and lemon custard with a mineral back-bone. This wine is drinking deliciously right now.
