Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.3 points

  • Very dark youthful color. Nose of barnyard, wet dirt, spices and game. The attack is dried Black fruit and spices. The mid-palate transition black pepper, earth and game. The finish is very long and leaves you with a gamey flavor with a hint of cellar funk. This is the best bottle I have had of this case. A wonderful wine that drinks more like a Bordeaux than a South African. A mix of Cabernet, Merlot, and Syrah.

  • Well made but on the back side of its life. Very acidic in fact it was said to me "the acidity is the only thing holding this wine together". Eat with food. Drink now.
